Mercedes Benz in the 2012 model year has decided not to rest on its laurels resulting in a change to almost every single model available in 2012. Improvements to the 2012 models keep Mercedes cars looking new and updated, here are the changes buyers can look forward to.
The C-Class coupe has a more aggressive style as well as a 7-speed transmission. Three engine choices are available from the 1.8 liter 4 cylinder to a 3.5 V6 to the 6.3 liter V8 from AMG. The C-Class Sedan gets new lights front and back. On the inside a color LCD with parking assist will also be an option. There is a blind spot assist, adaptive headlights and a blind spot assist.CLS Four door coupe was given a facelift for a more dramatic look. The first ever LED headlights as well as aluminum doors finish added to the exterior. There is 4.6 or 5.5 Liter V8 to choose from. Safety features include lane assist, a blind spot indicator and 10 airbags all standard.The E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet have two engine choices that include a 3.5 liter V6 and a 4.6 Liter V8 producing 302 and 402 horsepower respectively. Lane and blind spot indicators are available. The E-Class Sedan and Wagons include the option of a turbo diesel and a 4 wheel drive transmission. The blind spot and unexpected lane changing indicators are also available.
The SLK Coupe/Roadster has a brand new styling as well as new transmission choices and a retractable hardtop. 17 and 18 inch rims can be added. The new COMAND knob that controls the electronics inside is available. Rain sensitive wipers, power folding mirrors as well as a rearview mirror with a built in compass.
The flagship S-Class gets a 3.5 liter Hybrid powered engine. A turbo diesel option or the AMG 536 horse powered 5.5 liter V8. You have a choice of rear wheel or 4 wheel drive in the form of the 4-matic. The S600 gives you a choice of a 5.5 liter V12 generating 510 horsepower or the choice of a 6 liter V12 in the S65 AMG which produces 621 horsepower.
